Q. Will my caregiver accompany me on my doctors appointments?
A. Yes. We need at least 72 hour advanced notice of such appointment. Some
geographic areas are restricted.
Q. Does PPHC make service calls?
A. Yes. PPHC make safety/wellness checks to make sure our clients are well and
satisfied.
Q. Does PPHC conduct criminal background checks on its caregivers?
A. We conduct a criminal background check on all our potential caregivers. This is
to insure safety of our clients.
Q. How will I pay for my services?
A. PPHC accepts private pay, combination pay, also you may contact your insurance
carrier, Medicare, Medicaid, Molina, BCBS, Bluecare ect....
Q. Are rates affordable?
A. Yes. Our clients are unique and the amount of help required depends on
individual needs, so rates will vary according to those needs.
Q. I have a small pet, if I'm unable to care for him would my caregiver help us?
A. Yes. We have a pet support program. Our staff will come to your home on a
scheduled basis to take care of your pet, so that you will have peace of mind.
Q. Suppose I need less than 2 hours of service, would my caregiver assist me?
A. Yes. We would offer you our "Bath Visit". Bath visits are between 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hour. This service will be carried out for a flat rate.
Q. I need help during the night, holidays, and for the weekend. Will my caregiver
assist me?
A. Yes. We offer: weekends, holidays, overnight, hourly, short-term, long-term, and around the clock care. We also offer our "Wake Up and Tuck In Service". This 12 hour shift is designed for those individuals who find it frightening to sleep without assistance. Our caregivers will be there to tuck you in, assist you doing the night, sleep over, and available for wake-up service by morning. You will have the comfort of having a caring person there when you need them the most. The decision belongs to you.
